Weekend FUN!!!

I have a lot of reasons to be 'thankful' for being a mom, but truly these are the ONLY 4 reasons worth talking about!!!

While I am in the kitchen counting, this is the hiding spot she figured would conceal her location!

"Are you comfy in there Abigail?"

"I have NO idea what you are talking about!"

"OHhhhhhh, you mean the sprinkles. Well, a girls gotta have a little fun now and then and what is more fun than SPRINKLES!" Needless to say big brother left them on the table and baby-cakes found them only to enjoy them thoroughly.

We had the honor and privilege of dedicating Abigail Juliet Mei Li to the Lord on Mother's Day (so appropriate, don't you think?!?). They had a special 'Adoption Dedication' and we were pleased to share the stage with our Senior Pastor and his family who have adopted two boys from Korea (really cute story, but both of the boys are biological, born about 1.5 years apart).

Our prayer for her was found in Colossians 1:9-12:

"For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. ¹⁰And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, ¹¹being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully ¹²giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light."
